Launched in 2014, Pop Simfonic has become one of the most beloved projects of the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, bringing together the energy of pop music and the grandeur of a symphony orchestra.
Over the course of 10 editions, the project has featured dozens of soloists and hundreds of musicians, reimagining international and local hits through spectacular orchestral arrangements. From Queen, Coldplay, and Michael Jackson to contemporary artists, each edition has created a new meeting point between generations, musical styles, and audiences.
The anniversary edition in 2024, held at Chișinău Arena, welcomed more than 4,000 spectators, featuring artists such as Pasha Parfeni, Satoshi, Tania Turtureanu, Ana Cernicova, and Mihail.
Pop Simfonic continues to demonstrate that symphonic music can go beyond the boundaries of the classical repertoire and become an experience accessible to everyone.
