Rock Simfonic was created in 2013 with the ambition of bringing together two seemingly different musical worlds: the raw power of rock and the expressive depth of symphonic music.
Since its earliest concerts, the project has reimagined the music of legendary bands such as Queen, AC/DC, Metallica, Nirvana, Aerosmith, and Rammstein, transforming iconic songs into large-scale orchestral experiences.
The concept reached a new level with its performances at Chișinău Arena. The second edition of this renewed format, held in April 2025, brought together 100 musicians from Chișinău and Tiraspol, alongside soloists including Cătălin Josan, Ana Cernicova, Stas Goncear, Simona, and the band Snails.
Under the baton of conductor Andriano Marian, Rock Simfonic continues to explore the freedom of musical expression, introducing rock audiences to the rich sound of a symphony orchestra.
