Founded in 2018, Voices Moldova is one of the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra’s most significant initiatives promoting social inclusion through music.
The project was created to bring together children and teenagers from different regions of the Republic of Moldova, regardless of their social background, ethnicity, or access to educational opportunities. In its early years, the initiative aimed to involve 300 children, including participants from Gagauzia and communities on the left bank of the Dniester River.
Through rehearsals, workshops, educational activities, and concerts, Voices Moldova has become a space where children discover not only music, but also confidence, discipline, collaboration, and a sense of belonging.
The choir has taken part in some of the orchestra’s most important productions, including Pop Symphonic, demonstrating how the stage can become a place of equal opportunity and connection between people from different walks of life.
